6 Days Kidepo Valley Safari

6 days (5 nights) Safari in Kidepo valley park, another popular tourist destination in Uganda once listed among the must visit parks in Africa by CNN travel agency. The beautiful landscapes, large herds of buffaloe, zebras and Karamajongs stand out as the park star attractions.

Day 1: Arrival

Meet and greet our safari guide.  You will be then transferred to your hotel/ lodge in Kampala for dinner and overnight stay . Dinner and overnight stay at Serena hotel Kampala (luxury)/ Cassia lodge (midrange)/ Namirembe guest house (budget)

Day 2: Transfer to Kitgum

Today begins with a hearty breakfast and an early set off as you prepare for the long drive ahead of you. The drive takes around 7 hours with a lunch stop over enroute. Check into your hotel  from where you will connect to Kidepo valley the next morning.

Day 3: Transfer to Kidepo valley national park

Your morning begins with a filling breakfast followed by a 4 hours road trip to Kidepo valley. On arrival, check into your lodge where you will have lunch. Have an evening game drive in the park where you may possibly sight , buffaloes, zebras, Jackson’s hartebeest, elephants, sand grouse and if lucky lions and leopards. Dinner and overnight stay at Apoka lodge/ Nga'moru wilderness camp/ Apoka rest camp

Day 4: Game drives & Cultural walk

Experience the beauty of this park which gives you 99% chances of viewing the lion in its natural habitat and lots of wildlife like elephants, ostriches, mountain buzzards and many more at the banks of the Kidepo River. You will return to your lodge for lunch after which you will embark on a guided village walk experiencing the Karamajong culture a very interesting experience.Return to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Drive back to Kitgum

Exit the park after breakfast with a game drive. Drive to Boma Kitgum for dinner and overnight with a lunch stop over enroute

Day 6: Transfer to Kampala

This day is reserved for transfer to Kampala then Entebbe to board your home flight.
